We were tasked with building a fantasy device that took the following prompt into account:
World: Synthetic world where people can use other sense for taste, see, smell, feel and hearing
Social/Device Purpose: Communicate Instructions
Interaction Points/Gesture/Body: Lip Bite/Mouth
You: Are a student

With this in mind, Hannah and I created a Fantasy Device that has different colored lights that each map to a different sensory feeling.
You use your lips to interact; just touch a line with your lips, and the light comes on to tell you the feeling associated with the object your lips touch. For example, if you touch Line A with the lip-shaped paper, the yellow light lights up, which tells the viewer they're getting a smooth “taste”. The other sensory feelings are rough, fuzzy and hot/electric.

If I had more time, I would explore how to bring it to life using real-life scraps and materials like the Legos, Funko Pop toys and various wires (see below for reference).
