A small series drawn from time spent in Bahia and Rio de Janeiro.

Each piece captures a different rhythm of coastal life: the stillness of anchored boats along the Bahian shoreline, the hum of a city square on a Friday evening, the quiet vigilance of a lifeguard watching the tides in Ipanema, selfies at home amongst tropical fauna.

Rather than documenting specific Brazilian landmarks, the illustrations focus on atmosphere—how light, movement, and routine shape a place. Together, they form a study in contrast: tranquility and motion, leisure and responsibility, solitude and crowd.
